Los textos en cuestión abordan diferentes dimensiones del cruce que da nombre al colectivo del IIGG. Para allanar el recorrido que propongo en este trabajo, es menester ajustar criterios y utilizar una nomenclatura común para referirme a mi objeto; caso contrario, mis esfuerzos se diluirían por la falta de claridad. En función de esta tarea voy a apelar a ciertas ideas vertidas en un texto de Gonzalo Aguilar. Aquí, el autor realiza una reseña sobre el libro de Andrea Giunta, Vanguardia, internacionalismo y política (Arte argentino en los años sesenta)2 y se pregunta si este trabajo, junto a otros, conforman una nueva crítica cultural en nuestro país. Aguilar entiende que en Regueros de tinta de Sylvia Saítta, La grilla y el parque de Adrián Gorelik, Manuel Puig: después del fin de la literatura de Graciela Speranza, Del Di Tella al Tucumán Arde Vanguardia Artística y Política en el 68 argentino de Ana Longoni y Mariano Mestman, Entre la pluma y el fúsil de Claudia Gilman y en el ya mencionado libro de Andrea Giunta, hay elementos como para responder de manera afirmativa. A mi entender, el autor jerarquiza los puntos de contacto que existen entre estos trabajos. Señala, en primera medida, que todos tienen un origen académico común (son fruto de investigaciones académicas o tesis de doctorados) y un marco teórico similar (las referencias a Williams, Bourdieu y Sarlo son recurrentes).
