Colombia Temporal Coverage Temporal characteristics of the resource. 2014-2016 Description An account of the resource Esta tesis reflexiona sobre las prácticas, discursos y sentidos políticos que los jóvenes de Bogotá, en contextos de pobreza y violencia, generan en torno a las producciones audiovisuales creadas por ellos y que se refieren a sus experiencias, intereses y anhelos. Esto a partir de los procesos de formación audiovisual articulados con el Instituto Distrital para la Protección de la Niñez y la Juventud (Idipron) de la Alcaldía Mayor de Bogotá de los años 2014 a 2016. Analizamos las distintas formas de apropiación del lenguaje audiovisual, cómo y para qué se realizan estos videos, y las propuestas estilísticas, temáticas y narrativas, de qué tratan, y con quién dialogan; para responder ¿qué relación tienen estos procesos con categorías como memoria colectiva, la visibilidad y el cuidado de sí y de los otros? ¿cómo se expresa todo esto en el ámbito personal, subjetivo y cotidiano? ¿cuánto de político tienen los procesos y productos audiovisuales? Proponemos un lenguaje audiovisual juvenil imarginal, suma de las relaciones sociales basadas en las imágenes y la ubicación marginal de enunciación de los jóvenes creadores. Esta producción audiovisual en términos de estilo y contenidos, genera identidades y acciones micropolíticas que desbordan las expectativas institucionales y generan reflexiones y cambios a nivel personal y cotidiano. Como insumos para la investigación analizamos los registros en diarios de campo, fruto del acompañamiento etnográfico de los talleres de realización y circulación, además de algunas entrevistas con jóvenes y funcionarios y los productos audiovisuales como filminutos, videoclips, cortos documentales, entre otros. This dissertation addresses the practices, discourses, and political senses that young people, from a poor and violent context in Bogotá, generate around their own audiovisual production made within training programs of the Distrital Institute for Children and Young People Protection (Idipron) between 2014-16. These audiovisual productions refer to their own experiences, interests, and hopes. We study the different forms of audiovisual language appropriation, how these videos are made and what for; their stylistic, thematic and narrative proposals, what they are about and whom they dialogue with, thus questioning the relation of these processes with the categories of collective memory, visibility and self-care and care for others. We aim to analyze the political component of these processes and products. For doing so, we claim for a young audiovisual imarginal language, which entangles the social relations based on images and the marginal place of enunciation of the young people that creates them. These audiovisual productions generate identities and micropolitics actions which exceeds the institutional expectations and generate reflexions and impact them in a daily-life basis. This research is based on several documents that were part of the training processes such as field diaries that resulted from the ethnographic observation in the film workshops and exhibition events, and some interviews with young people and institutional workers.
