Se identificaron cambios y continuidades dentro del área de la televisión, respecto de las condiciones externas, como los procesos políticos, económicos y sociales. En ese sentido, se pudo corroborar la hipótesis que guió el análisis que partió de que, dentro del campo comunicacional, se pudo ver un incremento en el interés por los estudios sobre la televisión debido al debate, la promulgación y la aplicación de la Ley de Servicios de Comunicación Audiovisual N° 26.522, sancionada en el año 2009, que excede a la perspectiva teórica de la Economía política de la Comunicación, considerando que las investigaciones irán más allá de la indagación por la propiedad de los medios.
