Argentina Description An account of the resource En este trabajo nos propusimos dar cuenta de las representaciones de los cuerpos de los músicos de rock barrial en registros audiovisuales. El corpus elegido a tal fin son videos de conciertos de ocho bandas representativas de este subgénero: Patricio Rey y sus Redonditos de Ricota, Los Piojos, La Renga, Los Ratones Paranoicos, Bersuit Vergarabat, Viejas Locas, Callejeros e Intoxicados. Las preguntas que nos inquietaron y guiaron nuestra propuesta fueron varias pero una en particular guió nuestra labor: Si la categorización de barrial abarca a estas bandas, ¿las representaciones corporales de los músicos tienen características en común? Es decir, desde los aspectos morfotípicos y estéticos ¿poseen varios aspectos que nos permita identificarlos como músicos de rock barrial? Y si hay diferencias, ¿Qué elementos nos permiten entender que esos cuerpos son legítimos en tanto rockeros? Pero además ¿Qué características poseen los rockeros de este subgénero en particular? El cuerpo, entendido como construcción histórica y como producto de la historia social y personal, nos permite realizar una lectura acerca de qué es un cuerpo legítimo -o no- en relación al lugar social que ocupa...
