El corpus de la misma abarca los perfiles de Instagram de las cuentas de Instagram de Mauricio Macri y Alberto Fernández una semana antes de las elecciones PASO y una semana antes de las elecciones generales del 2019. El tipo de análisis es sociosemiótico, se trabaja a partir de la teoría de los discursos sociales de Eliseo Verón, y busca responder a una hipótesis principal: la existencia de una continuidad discursiva en el perfil de Alberto Fernández y una ruptura en lo discursivo en el perfil de Mauricio Macri, en lo que respecta el primer y segundo período de las elecciones nacionales del mencionado año. Para ello, se desarrollan tres capítulos de análisis para brindar respuestas, en primer lugar a las modalidades discursivas de los candidatos en la instancia de enunciación. En segundo lugar, indagar acerca de los tipos de internautas políticos que emergen en el campo de reconocimiento, y por último, analizar los distintos efectos de sentido que aparecen en el conjunto discursivo de los internautas.
