Menos obvias resulten quizás, aquellas prácticas cotidianas de violencia de género, como los “piropos”, las “apoyadas” y “toqueteos”, las persecuciones callejeras, el acoso laboral, que suelen ser naturalizadas y aceptadas con resignación por muchas mujeres. En la presente investigación, que se realizó para acceder al título de grado de la Licenciatura de Ciencias de la Comunicación, de la Universidad de Buenos Aires, nos propusimos hacer visible una de estas prácticas de violencia de género: el abuso sexual simple, en el transporte público de la Ciudad Autónoma de Buenos Aires. Si bien los hombres pueden ser víctimas de este tipo de abuso en medios de transporte, nuestro foco estuvo puesto en las experiencias de mujeres por considerarlas el grupo de mayor riesgo.
