Argentina Description An account of the resource Este ensayo fotográfico lo inicié a principios del año 2015 a partir del taller “Narrativa Visual - Claves para un ensayo documental” que dictaba Gisela Volá en la cooperativa de fotógrafos SUB.Coop. Fue el cuarto taller que tomé en la cooperativa en dos años y la segunda vez que tomaba el mismo sobre narrativa visual ya que había encontrado en este lenguaje algunas herramientas que me permitían cultivar distintos perfiles: el periodístico, el artístico, el narrativo, el diseño, la imagen, la edición. Lo primero que se nos encargó fue escribir cuál era el vínculo personal que teníamos con el tema elegido ya que hacía a la originalidad del trabajo. Algunas preguntas que anoté fueron: ¿Por qué como autor del trabajo me acerco a este tema en particular, la carne? ¿Por qué la carne es parte del mito fundacional argentino? ¿Por qué hay un sinnúmero de producciones literarias - en la pintura, en la misma fotografía, en el cine -que encuentran algo para contar en la carne? ¿Por qué es interesante el trabajo en el matadero, la distribución de roles, el cultivo del oficio? ¿Por qué se pueden contar los vaivenes de la historia argentina a través de la historia de los mataderos?
