Es por ese motivo que es preciso reformular esta concepción como el resultado de “un largo y complejo trabajo de construcción técnica, moral y política” (Vommaro, Daniel, 2013: 24) que excede la conceptualización científica pretendida por las ciencias sociales. En la contemporaneidad, la pobreza es objeto de discurso de medios periodísticos, redes sociales, las distintas artes y, en suma, de todo el discurso social (Angenot, 2010). Es bajo esta disputa en la que es posible introducir discursos de otros ámbitos no tecnificados que pueden producir definiciones socialmente legítimas sobre la pobreza. Este trabajo pretende indagar en los modos en los que la literatura argentina de poscrisis de 2001 narra la pobreza, explorando la forma en la que la construye como objeto de su discurso y como problemática. En este sentido, este será virtualmente un escrito sociológico que se prestará de perspectivas disciplinares diversas, a saber, la teoría literaria y el análisis del discurso. Esta multidisciplinariedad metodológica no será una herramienta meramente hermenéutica, sino que se consignará como parte de la problemática estudiada. En este sentido, nos preguntamos, ¿cómo consigna a la pobreza la literatura argentina de poscrisis? ¿a qué elementos discursivos recurre? ¿qué luz puede arrojar sobre una problemática a los ojos de la tecnicidad de las ciencias sociales? Estas preguntas deberán elaborarse a la luz de la advertencia de que este trabajo no pretende hacer estrictamente una sociología de la literatura. Si bien daremos cuenta de los posicionamientos discursivos de los autores que trabajaremos, de las condiciones materiales de su escritura y de los elementos ideológicos involucrados en su prosa, el trabajo aquí presente buscará hacer sociología con la literatura, no buscando saturación teórica en el análisis literario sino sirviéndonos de su discurso para comprender de una manera más abarcativa la problemática propuesta. El recorte temporal, que situamos a partir del año 2001, se justifica en virtud de una reconfiguración histórica de órdenes tanto globales como locales. El orden global responde a los grandes procesos de crisis económico-institucionales que atravesaron los comienzos del siglo XXI (Piketty, 2014; Krugman, 2009). El orden local, a la fragilidad institucional del Estado argentino y a la crisis económica y social del país a fines del 2001 (Svampa 2005; Adamovsky, 2009; Pucciarelli y Castellani, 2015). Uno de los efectos de esta crisis habría sido el de signar “una literatura que no podría existir, como existe, sin ese acontecimiento [la crisis]”. Esa literatura plantearía “ciertas renovaciones en los modos de representar las formas del empobrecimiento” (Hernaiz: 2012) que no habrían existido en narrativas anteriores. Este trabajo se estructura a partir del análisis de cómo el concepto mismo de pobreza es un significante sobredeterminado y disputado y, en segundo lugar, cómo ha evolucionado esa disputa en el plano local. Más adelante, con respecto al discurso literario, se consignan las características que lo distinguen del resto de los discursos del ámbito público en general y el de las ciencias sociales en particular. Esta distinción abrirá las puertas a la metodología que pretendemos proponer en este trabajo y al posterior desarrollo del análisis, cuya estructuración seguirá el siguiente orden cronológico: a) un breve repaso por la literatura argentina sobre la pobreza en la historia previa a la crisis; b) un análisis de obras sobre la crisis y su narrativa de la pobreza; d) un paréntesis con respecto al análisis de obras para estudiar el caso de la editorial Eloísa Cartonera como subproducto del acontecimiento del 2001; y d) en último lugar, un análisis de obras de poscrisis, atendiendo a la compleja particularidad del término. It is for this reason that it is necessary to reformulate this conception as the result of "a long and complex work of technical, moral and political construction" (Vommaro, Daniel, 2013: 24) that exceeds the scientific conceptualization intended by the social sciences. In contemporary times, poverty is the object of discourse of journalistic media, social networks, the different arts and, in short, of the entire social discourse (Angenot, 2010). It is under this dispute that it is possible to introduce discourses from other non-technified fields that can produce socially legitimate definitions of poverty. This dissertation aims to inquire into the ways in which Argentine literature of the 2001 post-crisis narrates poverty, exploring the way in which it constructs it as an object of discourse and as a problematic. In this sense, this will be virtually a sociological writing that will borrow from diverse disciplinary perspectives, namely literary theory and discourse analysis. This methodological multidisciplinarity will not be a merely hermeneutical tool but will be understood as part of the problematic under study. In this sense, we ask ourselves, how does post-crisis Argentine literature understands poverty? what discursive elements does it resort to? what light can it shed on a problematic in the eyes of the technicality of the social sciences? These questions should be elaborated in the light of the caveat that this paper does not pretend to be strictly a sociology of literature. Although we will account for the discursive positions of the authors we will work with, the material conditions of their writing and the ideological elements involved in their prose, the work here will seek to do sociology with literature, not seeking theoretical saturation in literary analysis but using their discourse to understand the proposed problematic in a more comprehensive way. The time frame, which we place from 2001 onwards, is justified by a historical reconfiguration of both global and local orders. The global order responds to the great processes of economic-institutional crisis that crossed the beginning of the 21st century (Piketty, 2014; Krugman, 2009). The local order, to the institutional fragility of the Argentine State and the economic and social crisis of the country at the end of 2001 (Svampa 2005; Adamovsky, 2009; Pucciarelli and Castellani, 2015). One of the effects of this crisis would have been to mark "a literature that could not exist, as it exists, without that event [the crisis]". That literature would pose "certain renovations in the ways of representing the forms of impoverishment" (Hernaiz: 2012) that would not have existed in previous narratives. This dissertation is structured on the basis of the analysis of how the concept of poverty itself is an overdetermined and disputed signifier and, secondly, how this dispute has evolved at the local level. Further on, with respect to literary discourse, the characteristics that distinguish it from the rest of the discourses of the public sphere in general and that of the social sciences are consigned. This distinction will open the doors to the methodology we intend to propose in this paper and to the subsequent development of the analysis, which will be structured in the following chronological order: (a) a brief review of Argentine literature on poverty in the pre-crisis history; (b) an analysis of works on the crisis and its poverty narrative; (d) a parenthesis with respect to the analysis of works to study the case of the publishing house Eloísa Cartonera as a by-product of the 2001 event; and (d) lastly, an analysis of post-crisis works, attending to the complex particularity of the term.
