Lo que me motivo a realizar esta tesina de producción fue el crecimiento que tuvo el Reggae en la industria cultural argentina entre 2005 y 2015. La música jamaicana ocupó un lugar preponderante en el mainstream musical argentino, luego de años de ser tan sólo un sonido del under. Durante este trabajo se intentará, en principio, indagar el porqué del resurgimiento de la cultura Reggae en Argentina entre esos años, se rastrearán sus causas, así como el porqué de la identificación de los seguidores del reggae local con esta música.
