Argentina Description An account of the resource Una de las primeras frases que escuché al hablar sobre la actividad inventiva con los inventores, consiste en la explicación de que todo lo creado por el hombre parte de la mente de uno o varios inventores. Esa fue una motivación clave para emprender la presente investigación, consistente en interpretar qué significa ser inventor para los propios inventores. Casi siempre aparecen comentarios y gestos de asombro, orgullo, admiración, respeto y hasta, en algunos casos, envidia, quizás por sentir que un individuo creó algo original, diferente, novedoso, revelador. En los medios de comunicación, el inventor es entrevistado con grandilocuencia, a menudo se lo nombra con los sustantivos de “genio”, “loco”, “diferente”, “alternativo”, sumando características al estereotipo de “científico loco”. Asimismo, se construye al inventor como dotado del don de la creación, de la creatividad, todas ideas que se atribuyen al genio y que le son innatas. Además, el inventor que triunfa económicamente con su creación innovadora, es interpelado muchas veces con la frase de “se salvó con un invento”, como si hubiera ganado un gran premio de lotería. El presente trabajo intenta deconstruir ese imaginario común, a partir de descifrar de manera profunda y comprensiva, qué significa inventar para los inventores, cómo piensan su actividad inventiva, y cuáles son sus prácticas cotidianas a partir de las cuales dan cuenta del proceso de invención.(...)
