XXI Description An account of the resource El propósito de esta tesina es analizar cómo se retoman las temáticas clásicas empleadas en el folletín del siglo XIX en los nuevos formatos tecnológicos y contextos regionales del siglo XXI. En este caso elegimos indagar dicha transposición en el pasaje del folletín El conde de Montecristo, escrito por Alejandro Dumas1 (1802-1870) en el año 1844, en una Francia convulsionada por las revoluciones bonapartistas2, a la telenovela Montecristo, un amor, una venganza, que se emitió por el canal de televisión argentino Telefé en el año 2006. Analizaremos la influencia del nuevo contexto tanto temporal como local y la adaptación de los núcleos narrativos al nuevo formato. Las preguntas fundamentales que guiarán la tesina y que se tratará de contestar en esta investigación son: ¿Cómo se retoman las temáticas clásicas del formato folletinesco del siglo XIX europeo en la Argentina del siglo XXI? ¿Cómo logra incorporar la telenovela Montecristo, un amor, una venganza las temáticas de la identidad y la venganza?
