Abstract
The assumption of Mauricio Macri as president introduced strong changes in the Argentine media scheme, deepening his concentration, repealing central aspects of Law 26,522 on Audiovisual Communication Services (LSCA) and sharply cutting the advertising pattern of many media. This generated a wave of closings and layoffs in the sector that suffered a massive collective blow. From that context, this thesis reflects on the meanings of the production of political journalism by analyzing the perceptions of press workers. Through testimonies collected from a series of interviews with young journalists we addressed their informational practices of resistance, the ways in which they had to reinvent their work in an environment of adjustment and the relations of a social segment oriented to the production and broadcasting of news through small and medium-sized journalistic companies that used digital technologies to amplify its reception.
