Abstract
On April 5, 2024, the Argentine Public University Radio will be one hundred years old. This work investigates the link between the radio station and the university to which it belongs, the legal and legal framework in which it operates, the tools for its sustainability, budgetary resources, internal organization and the personnel that work in them. The technical situation of studies and transmission plants, emission mechanisms, access to new technologies and the link with the university community and with society in the territory are addressed. It analyzes the participation and integration with national and foreign university radio networks. The study has been dimensioned by areas to deal with a little explored phenomenon, since on the Argentine university radio there are very important contributions from researchers who have revealed programming designs, formats and contents, the radio organizational structure is not deeply surveyed, for which the stations of four different universities have been taken as units of analysis: those of the National University of La Plata (AM and FM), that of Paraná of the National University of Entre Ríos, that of the National University of Tierra del Fuego and that of the National University of Avellaneda. They have been problematized in order to know how they materialize the radio communication project, in the investigated dimensional framework.
